Why is childbirth constantly compared to being kicked in the balls? There seems to be this never-ending, comical debate about it. I feel like women can’t talk about their experiences with pain during childbirth without a man making this point and soliciting laughter from everyone in the room. “Ohhh, I dunno honey, you’ve never been kicked in the balls so you wouldn’t really know what’s worse would you!”

It just further proves how men can’t accept women ever doing anything powerful, can’t accept the idea of there being something we come off worse in, can’t accept there’s anything about us they don’t understand.

Men, here’s a tip: Just don’t ever say that. Just don’t.
